This half-day workshop invites the Multimodal Learning Analytics community to explore how GenAI and Large Language Models can serve as semantic sensors, moving beyond behaviour tracking to decode meaning, motivation, and coherence in collaborative learning. Through flash presentations, plenary discussions, and group discussions, participants share emerging tools and findings while addressing challenges such as bias, privacy, and cognitive overreliance. Outputs include open workshop proceedings, proposals for a special journal issue, and community building.
